Joining Nutanix in January 2014 to lead Alliances, Venugopal Pai has led the company and established partnerships with industry leaders in key sectors of the market to ensure the continued growth of the company, and ensure that Nutanix’s products continue to be best-in-class in delivering unique product capabilities and innovative solutions that meets the needs of the customer and the market. The partnership ecosystem today includes strategic partnerships with Dell, Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Splunk and other industry leaders.
Venugopal Pai's experience spans over 30 years in IT with key roles in marketing and partnerships with Riverbed Technology, Hitachi Data Systems, Brocade Communications Systems and Oracle Corporation. Pai holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering from Madras University in India.
