As a strategic business executive with rich career experience across engineering, sales and operations, Dean thrives on opportunities to develop new business and build and lead high-performance teams. His primary focus for the last 10 years has been in digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and driving value for his clients.
Dean joined Infor in November 2020 to lead the Infor Industry 4.0 team. This cross-functional team focuses on smart manufacturing and supply chain technologies to drive business success. The team develops solutions which marry advanced manufacturing techniques with the Internet of Things, Big Data, AI, ML, and more. The manufacturing systems are not only interconnected, but communicate, analyze, and use information to drive further intelligent action back to the physical world.
Before joining Infor, he was Managing Director, North America Digital Manufacturing and Supply Chain for EY. He worked with the EY team to deliver transformational outcomes to improve operations and the entire supply chain by leveraging technology and process as a tool to accelerate business outcomes.
Dean was also the Senior Director and EVP Leader, Digital Industrial Transformation for GE Digital. He focused on the use of I4.0 technologies, data analytics, and machine learning to transform industrial businesses into digital industrial businesses. His primary focus was to leverage these technologies throughout a number of GE businesses and partner with key external clients to help them on their digital journey.
Dean attended the University of Pittsburgh, studying electrical engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Ohio University.
