Carrie Bishop was appointed the first Chief Digital Services Officer for the City and County of San Francisco, and from 2017 to 2022 established a 50 person digital team to begin the monumental task of modernizing the City’s 967 services. Carrie graduated in the class of 2023 from Stanford Graduate School of Business, having completed the year-long MSx Sloan Fellowship Program. Originally from the UK, Carrie was the co-owner of FutureGov, a digital agency for local government, which was sold in 2019 to TPX Impact. Now based in San Francisco, Carrie is obsessed with the potential of AI in the public sector.
