Tim Minahan is responsible for defining, overseeing, and executing global marketing and
communications strategy for SAP’s fast-growing Cloud business. In this capacity, he oversees SAP’s
Cloud-related messaging, positioning, demand-generation, and go-to-market initiatives. Minahan also
has responsibility for marketing SAP’s line of business applications in the areas of HR, Procurement,
Finance, and Sales, Service, and Marketing.
He joined SAP when the company acquired Ariba, where he was SVP of Business Network Strategy and
global CMO. A pioneer in Cloud-based business-to-business collaboration, Minahan led the commercial
strategy for the Ariba Network, the world’s largest and most global business network, and oversaw
design and execution of go-to-market programs and marketing initiatives to fuel its growth.
